Welcome to the ‘Learning Frontier’, Interdisciplinary Program in Agricultural and Forest Meteorology (AgFM) at Seoul National University (SNU)! We‘re dealing with critical issues facing our society now and in the future, i.e., food and water security, ecosystem services, and concerns about global change and environmental degradation. The AgFM program is the first of its kind with a transdisciplinary focus on nurturing and linking interpersonal competence with key competencies in sustainability. Students are prepared to engage in local, regional, and global sustainability challenges as leaders and stewards by envisioning and implementing sustainable solutions to current and future agricultural and environmental concerns in complex social-ecological systems.
